1. Never share your PIN with anyone (not even supposed “MTN staff”).

2. Always check the sender’s number carefully before confirming a payment.

3. Ignore “You’ve won a prize” calls/messages—they are scams.

4. Register your SIM card only at official centers.

5. If in doubt, hang up and call your service provider directly.
